So, you have read all the great things about the Business Catalyst platform and you're keen to find out how things work ... here's the process we follow to deliver a great website for your business:

Plan your Website

This is THE most important stage of the website development process.  Some of the key things we need to determine in order to plan your website are:

• Your website objectives
• Your target market
• The pages you will include on your website

We ask you to complete our Needs Analysis Brief in consultation with a Project Manager. This gives us a clear understanding of your requirements.  We then match those requirements to the functionality on Business Catalyst and look at any other systems you need to integrate for your online business.

Design Your Website

Once we have a plan for your website, we can start the Design Phase.  All of our designers are web design experts with extensive experience in creating effective and attractive, search engine friendly websites.

During this phase of the project, we offer a number of options to suit your budget:

• Professional Custom Design;
• Customisation of a Pre-Designed Template; or
• Integrating your own Designs (or one from your Graphic Designer).

Develop Your Website on Business Catalyst

Once your design is finalised and approved by you, we move into the development phase.  We take your shiny new website design, code it for the Web and implement it on the Business Catalyst platform.  This is really when your website starts taking shape - you'll be able to view the site in development to see it all coming together.

This phase includes:

• Setting up your site-wide templates
• Creating the menus
• Setting up the modules and functionality you require (eg. Blog, Ecommerce, Email Marketing etc)
• Inserting, stylising and formatting your web page content (text and images)
• Testing, testing, testing ... making sure everything works correctly and looks the way it should across different browser platforms before going live.

Training

Now that you have this wonderful functional website for your business, you need to know how to manage it!  We offer all clients an introductory training session which gives you an overview of the system. We can provide further training as and when required; and tailored to your needs.
