Supported Payment Gateways
A payment gateway allows you to accept credit card payments through your website. BC supports a number of ‘seamless’ and ‘non-seamless’ payment gateways from around the world, including PayPal, Authorize.net, Google Checkout, EWay, SecurePay, MIGS, SagePay and many more. Sell e-products
BC allows you to upload and sell an unlimited number of e-products (electronic products) such as PDF documents or MP3 files, etc. You can set the limitations around the downloading of the file. When a customer purchases an e-product, if the payment is successful they can instantly download the product via a link included in the email invoice.
Sell Recurring Products
For any given product you can choose its recurring cycle (monthly, quarterly, annually etc) and have the system automatically create orders that recur when a customer purchases such products. For example if a customer buys a handful of products in which a couple have a monthly recurring cycle, then upon successfully paying for the order the system will create a new recurring order with the recurring products.
Shipping Options
Add as many shipping options as required for your online store. Shipping options can be set as a flat rate, by weight, volume or dimensions. You can exclude shipping from certain products & limit shipping to particular countries.
Integrated Shipping Services
The system currently integrates with FedEx, USPS, DHL and Australia Post.
Gift Vouchers
Have your customers buy a Gift Voucher in your online shop that they can give to someone else to spend back in your online shop. Gift Vouchers are a fantastic way to increase your online sales.
Wholesale Pricing
You can setup your online store to offer customers either Retail or Wholesale prices for every product. This way, Wholesalers will see one set of prices whilst your end-customers will see another.
Cross and Upsell
BC allows for effective cross and up-selling of products. For example, say a customer is purchasing a Cell Phone. You can significantly increase sales if at the time of adding the Cell Phone to the shopping cart, the customer was invited to also add a Hands Free Kit or a Car Charger, or both. The Related Products feature of the system allows you to easily link products to each other in order to up sell and cross sell as one is added to the cart.
Multi-currency Support
If you have a global market for your products, you can configure your website to sell your products in different currencies. This can be done by creating a sub-domain for each country and then providing a Country drop-down field, from which the website visitor can choose the relevant country/currency to buy products in.
Discount Codes
Discount codes are a great way to increase your online sales. They allow customers to get a percentage or a set amount off the total of the goods being purchased. You can create as many discount codes and distribute them among your various customer groups, or to new customers inside your marketing campaigns.
Tax Codes
On BC you can choose to include tax as part of the product price or show it as a separate item. You can setup tax codes (eg. for GST, VAT etc) and assign these to products so the system adds the relevant tax for each product automatically in the shopping cart.
Inventory Control
You can track inventory for every product if necessary. Inventory control allows you to stop the sale of products when out of stock, allow an out of stock product to be pre-ordered, notify you when a product reaches a stock threshold.
Affiliate Programs

Drop Shipping
The system provides for Drop shipping products to your customers (ie. you effectively rely on 3rd parties to fulfil and ship a product when it is purchased from your online shop). Once setup the selected supplier will be notified automatically by email when the product is purchased.
Product Search
The system includes sophisticated product search functionality allowing customers to search for products in catalogs, enter keywords or product codes, specify price ranges for products and sort results using the various options available.
SSL Certificate
The ecommerce functionality on BC comes with and is already configured with an SSL certificate, so you can take advantage of the latest security technologies to protect your customers online transactions. When customers purchase from you, the system will utilise the secure URL that comes with every site to ensure credit card details and other sensitive information is protected using Secure Socket Layers technology. The secure URL is in the form of https://sitename.worldsecuresystems.com.
Ecommerce Reports
The eCommerce reports drill into various aspects of your online shop's performance. You can measure your online store's sales, shopping cart abandon rates, while also finding your most popular products and catalogs. The possibilities with ecommerce reporting using the built-in reporting tool are wide and varied.
