With the Content Management features in BC you have a lot more control of your website. Aside from editing web pages, you can create a community with forums, build an audience with blogs, make secure areas for members, post the latest news items ... and more.

Sitewalk editor

An intuitive and easy way to keep your website content up to date. With Sitewalk, you can navigate your site and make changes as you browse. Move the mouse pointer over different elements on the page and click to edit the content.

WYSIWYG editor

The WYSIWYG (What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get) editor enables you to edit web pages and other types of content without needing to know HTML. Add formatting, images and other business functionality using a simple point-n-click approach.

Blog

Post articles to engage your website visitors and get the attention of the search engines. Posts are stored in chronological order and archived with a permanent URL, so other bloggers can link to your posts. Bloggers can also comment on individual posts. FAQs

FAQs (or Frequently Asked Questions) are an effective way to improve customer experience and reduce customer related enquiries. FAQs allow your customers to self-serve themselves by getting answers to their questions on your website without having to contact you. Literature module

You can set up and maintain a powerful Literature library and publish that Literature to your website. Literature is a term used for any documents, files or even executable program files that can be placed on your website for download by your website visitors. Customers see the filename and file type icon, with a link to download the file. When Literature is downloaded, a record is made of the action so you can accurately track when literature is being viewed, how often and so forth.

Web Forms

Web Forms allow you to interact with your customers, providing them with a communication channel to your business. You can use web forms to field enquiries, run competitions, create surveys, collect bookings – the possibilities are unlimited. When a Web Forms is submitted, the customer's details are seamlessly captured as a case record in the customer database.

Site Search

The website search engine allows you to provide full site search functionality to your website visitors. The site search functionality allows visitors to search through web page content, literature documents (eg. PDF, MS Word & most other popular document formats), Announcements , FAQs and Web App items.

Workflows

News / Announcements

The Announcements module allows you to publish a list of newsworthy events, keeping your site fresh and communicating important messages to your customers. When announcements are created and added to your web page, your customers will see the announcement title and a release date. The system also tracks when Announcements are viewed by your web site visitors.

Secure Zones

Using Secure zones is a fantastic way to manage your customer service, or provide your loyal customers with your best value added content. Secure Zones allow you to designate one or more areas of your public web site as secure. Accessing the Secure Zone requires customers to enter their username and password. If this is not entered they will be denied access to the Secure Zone. You can set up as many Secure Zones as you need to, with each one providing customised content for different users.

RSS Channels

RSS (“Really Simple Syndication”) allows Content Syndication. In other words, you can use RSS to allow your readers to ‘subscribe’ to your content. When you add content, subscribers to your RSS feeds are alerted. Overall RSS is an extremely powerful way to keep in touch with your customers. On BC, you can setup unlimited RSS channels with unlimited items. You can syndicate Announcements, FAQs, Web Pages, Blogs and Literature items.

Ad Rotators

Ad rotators allow you to randomly display an image in any part of a web page. Every time a customer visits the web page with an Ad Rotator, a different image from your Ad Rotator group will be displayed. Great for displaying product specials, customer testimonials, special announcements etc.

Bookings

If your business undertakes events or seminars where bookings are required then the Bookings module can help to significantly streamline administrative tasks whilst helping improve overall customer experience. The booking feature enables your customers to make bookings on your website for specific events. The system will track capacity and will send follow-up emails to customers before, on and after the booking date to maximize customer experience. Provided you have a ‘seamless’ payment gateway on your site, with Bookings you can also accept credit card processing on the booking form.

Photo Galleries

The Photo Gallery feature enables you to present any set of your images on your website so customers can easily navigate through and view them. The Photo Galleries feature can be implemented on any web page. It will automatically include thumbnails for every image in the set and allows visitors to navigate from one to another. You can optionally provide a description for each photo which is displayed when the user views the full size image.

Meta Data Management

Search engines are of ever growing importance in website exposure. With the BC system you have complete control over the Meta data, such as keywords and descriptions for every web page. You can also set page titles, page names, image ‘alt’ tags, as well as control what pages can be indexed by the search engines.

XML Sitemap

On regular intervals the system produces an XML sitemap in the format specified by Google and Yahoo. An XML Sitemap allows the search engines to index all your web pages (excluding those in a secure area).
